The Society for Innovation, Development and Medical Education – SideMED, under the supervision of the University of Medicine, Pharmacy, Sciences and Technology of Târgu Mureș, organizes the first English edition of the workshop Digestive Anastomoses.

The workshop tries to have a step-by-step approach to the most efficient method for understanding the basic principles in digestive surgery, which can then be applied in future advanced workshops in the field.

What is the target audience of the event?: students who try to understand theoretical notions and practical procedures essential to digestive surgery.

How is the workshop carried out?: following each theoretical presentation, every two participants benefit from the help of one trainer who is in charge of explaining the notions and clearing up any and all insufficiently clear information; subsequent to that, the trainer will explain the practical procedures in a step-by-step manner, until they are understood and successfully executed by the participant.

How long does the event take?: one day, with the splitting of the subjects in such a way that all participants are permitted to go through everything in a relaxed manner, and tailored to the studying rhythm of each individual.
