The Society for Innovation, Development and Medical Education – SideMED, under the supervision of the „George Emil Palade” University of Medicine, Pharmacy, Sciences and Technology of Târgu Mureș, organizes the first English edition of the workshop Cardiovascular Surgical Techniques.

Who is the target audience of the event?
Students who wish to come in contact for the first time with cardiovascular surgical maneuvers, and residents who wish to exercise and perfect their technique.

How is the workshop carried out?
Theoretical presentations, followed by practical step by step explanations, all the way to understanding and successfully executing the techniques by the participant on appropriate biological material.

How long does the event last?
This event unfolds over the course of two days, with the splitting of the subjects in such a way that all participants are permitted to go through everything in a relaxed manner, and tailored to the learning pace of each individual.

How do you know if you have been accepted?
The coordinators of the event will contact you via SMS to confirm your acceptance to the workshop and they will also deliver all relevant information regarding the location, the starting hour and payment details. Participation will be paid only AFTER the confirmation, and according to the details provided by the coordinator.

• Aorto-coronary bypass
• Aortic valve replacement
• Correction of congenital heart defect
